National park Northern Velebit

An area of 109 km² of dense beech forest, declared a national park in 1999 and it is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage List. Within the park there are reserves Hajdučki and Rožanski kukovi, Lukina jama (one of the deepest caves in the world), botanical reserve “Visibaba”, Velebit botanical garden and Premužić trail.
